With over 20 years, MVB have made a profound impact within Swindon, Cotswolds and the surrounding areas working with Fulham Broadway, Castle Quay Shopping Centre, The Pavilions Shopping Centre, in Uxbridge amongst many others.

The website was generating very little in the way of awareness and leads. Mark needed additional exposure from both marketing channels via paid and organic marketing strategies.

TBG Group worked closely with Mark Blackwell, understanding his business, his goals within the next 6-12 months and his ideal clients. Key things that were discussed included:

With MVB’s key target audience in mind, it was established and agreed that a Pay-Per-Click Campaign was to be created to help promote MVB’s web presence amongst the target audience. TBG Group set out to establish the main goal of the PPC Campaign which was to generate brand awareness via ad clicks. This helped shame our overall campaign strategy from the first step.

Our highly experienced marketing executives conducted keyword research, ascertaining high-volume words and phrases as well as words and phrases that withhold low CPC (Cost-Per-Click) but still maintains relevance for maximum utilisation of Mark’s budget. Competitor Analysis is a key setup strategy that TBG Group conduct when setting up a client’s PPC Campaign. We analysed Mark’s competitors’ presence across paid advertising including their targeting, keywords, messaging and the layout/styling of the dedicated landing pages used.

TBG Group structured the campaign around MVB’s weekly budget, facilitating multiple ad copies with varying choices of words, phrases and ad extensions with the intention of adjusting in accordance to initial results to better utilise budget spend. Dedicated landing pages were created across key service areas Mark wanted to push sales for Christmas Lights, EV Chargers and more. User Experience played a key role in the creation and design of these pages with the intention of altering the layout once initial engagement figures were received post-launch.

Once live, TBG Group regularly monitored and reviewed the performance with MVB, altering ad copies based on data-driven feedback and market trends to further utilise budget.

Alongside the ongoing PPC Campaign, TBG Group also looked to scale MVB’s social presence through organic strategies such as social media posting and engagement. We worked closely with Mark to establish key services he would like to push via these channels and threaded this into a content calendar for the rest of the calendar year. Additional topics were also brought in to bring variety into the posts published. For example, seasonal dates, DIY tips etc. to educate the audience as well as sell the MVB brand and its services.

2 Posts per week were made as per the agreed content calendar with daily engagement exercises conducted across all three platforms to conform with algorithms.

Alongside our robust content calendar, TBG Group made routine updates to the MVB Electrical and MVB Build websites. Making sure each website reflected the services available for interested prospects as well as making layout changes as and when MVB requested.

Quality over quantity was at the forefront of our approach to address MVB’s main objectives. Each marketing activity was based on previous industry knowledge and experience as well as relevant online research around the industry and MVB’s target audience.
