Campaign Objective and Project Background
Gloucestershire Engineering Training came to TBG Group with the aim of redeveloping their frontend website to appeal to younger prospective apprentices. Before working with TBG Group, much of GET’s enquiries came from word-of-mouth sources and very little interest was being generated by their website online. GET wanted to bring a livelier interest to their website to help spread the knowledge of their college to young prospective apprentices, this was to help aid the young prospective apprentices to get all the information required about the potential courses they wanted to enrol in.
TBG Group were asked to completely redevelop GET’s frontend website consisting of a new page structure, imagery and theme to illustrate the training facility and its capabilities with the aim of generating further interest from younger prospective apprentices as well as employers. GET wanted TBG Group to take the lead and solely handle the process for them.

Project execution
TBG Group handled the entire process from start to finish involving spending a day at the facility gather high-quality images of the facility and a student’s typical day with our professional photographer. Ensuring that the facility was captured in a way that captivates both young individuals and employers, with the hope of sparking interest across the board.
Wireframing and draft visual page designs were created as part of the setup process, ensuring the client was happy with the proposed look and feel of the website before any development work took place. We made sure to reflect the branding of GET in every element used, taking advantage of the 46-year legacy GET has built.
During development, we made sure to keep the client updated on our progress and liaised with relevant department members to obtain relevant, up-to date content to use on the website. We ensured each page was optimised for SEO rankings and mobile/tablet viewership, ensuring the new website offers a pleasant user experience for desktop, tablet and mobile users.
